Hey, my name is Kylee Uotila! I am originally from the Ontonagon area but I am up at Northern Michigan University for Secondary Education English. I’ve always had a passion for kids, especially helping them in any way possible; which is what inspired my career choice. Not only do I think this will benefit me, but I prioritize helping others in any way that I can. I love board games, sports, baking, and crafts, as well as the outdoors. I’ve had a blast exploring all of the best hiking spots in Marquette! I have participated in a Patient Care Technician class where I was CPR certified and received entry level First Aid training. I have previously watched over 3 separate families outside of my own. The first family having a boy (11) and girl (7), the second family having a girl (4), boy (6), and girl (10), and then the last family with a boy watching him through ages 8 months-6 years old.

Hi! My name is Ellison, and I’m a passionate and experienced childcare provider who truly loves working with children of all ages. I have been babysitting since I was 13 and have gained experience caring for children from as young as 3 months old through 14 years old. For three years I also worked as a nanny for a young child with a disability. This experience has taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, communication, and creating a safe and supportive environment where every child can thrive. I have also nannied for and babysat various other families with children of different ages and needs. In addition to my childcare experience, I teach outdoor education to children and young adults ages 3–25. My goal is always to make sure children feel safe, cared for, and happy while giving parents peace of mind that their little ones are in good hands!

Date nights, occasional when needed sitter. I've got you. For any age. I have babysat since middle school till now. I love being able to help parents out and give them a night to get away. I can do bedtime routines, dinner, and help clean up the house. I have also learned to communicate with parents to ensure that whatever preference they have I can do. It's important to me that I am doing what is needed per the parents'requests.

I have worked with kids for over 7 years, and I love creating a safe space for them! I have worked as a day camp counselor, student aide at an elementary school, and regular in-home babysitting! I took the American Red Cross babysitting course when I was first starting out, and have become CPR and first aid certified since then. I worked as a lifeguard so I also have water safety skills, and as a CNA, so I have skills that go along with that as well! I genuinely just enjoy being around kids. I don't get upset when kids cry, don't eat, or even sometimes don't listen. If I somehow upset a child, or say no to something (like junk food right before lunch!), I make sure to explain my reasoning and I've found that it works with kids even as young as 3! I truly just enjoy that I am able to do what I love and call it work!

I have not only experience with a big family like my own, but also some childcare experience when I was younger. I've worked as a direct care worker, so I am comfortable working with children who may have special needs. I am CPR and First aid trained. My skills include meal prep, housekeeping, and animal experience. I own my car and am comfortable driving others.

Hello! My name is Saige Roberts. I am from Kalamazoo, Michigan, but I am living in Marquette to attend NMU. I love being a sitter because I love caring for others. My love for sitting started from taking care of my little cousins. I loved being able to care for them, make them happy, and most importantly, make them feel safe. It makes my heart smile to help others. Most of my experience comes from taking care of my little sister, cousins, or family friends. I’ve been an on and off babysitter for 2-3 years.
