As the oldest sibling and cousin, caring for kids has always been part of my life. I took a babysitting basics class at 13 where I learned CPR and first aid, then started babysitting for family and friends. In high school, I nannied for a family with 5 kids, ranging from 5-14. I picked them up from school, took them to sports practices, cooked dinner sometimes, and even stayed the night on a few occasions when the parents were out of town.
