Hello, fellow parents! My name is Rachelle and I am a compassionate, loving, go with the flow child care provider who adores children. I have two grown up children of my own and I have 7+ years of paid nanny/babysitting experience so I am excellent in taking care children of all ages. I seem to attract the angel eyes of little kids, especially infants and toddlers! I have a verifiable CDA (Child Development Associate) Training and Certificate, CPR certified, cleared my background check and have taught preschoolers in the US, Japan, Thailand and the Philippines. I am very reliable and rest assured that your child will have the best quality care and attention when with me. I understand that every child is different so I always follow parents' instructions on sleeping routines, feeding and care techniques. The safety and happiness of a child are always my top priorities. I also take pride in my hotel babysitting and date night sitting services. I always make sure that your kid/kids will be entertained by age-appropriate activities in your hotel room. Thank you for reading my profile and please don’t forget to click on my reviews from families I have worked with before. 😃Looking forward to hearing from you.

Rachelle watched our baby for two evenings while we were in town for a wedding. She was accommodating, punctual, and enthusiastic. I felt less anxious about leaving my baby after meeting with her. She had brought some age-appropriate toys to use, sent us updates while we were out, and followed our instructions perfectly. Thank you, Rachelle! We will definitely hire Rachelle again if we are back in town.

Hi, my name is Valerie and I am interested in part-time childcare work. I am a mom of 5 Vikings ( as my husband and I call them). My two oldest have moved out, and I have 2 in High School and 1 in Community College. I have been a stay-at-home mom for (most of) 23 yrs. I started following my kids to school, and volunteering in classrooms until the school finally hired me! When I realized that my kids would rather be with their friends I decided it was time to get out of the house. My neighbor agreed and offered me up as a nanny for friends of hers. I obtained my CPR certification and accepted a temporary Nanny position, part-time, for an infant. I so enjoyed my time with a little again! My position ended when circumstances changed and the family moved from the area. Since that first job, I’ve had a family in town for two days for work and hired me to care for their infant for a few days. Then two very lovely families who each only needed me part of the week became my primary jobs and kept my schedule full. Then it happened. A job offer for Husband, in Michigan. Since we are originally from Michigan, we made the very difficult decision to move. Yay Husband. Bummer to leave the families I had been a part of. Pre-Husband and Vikings, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Earth Science at Central Michigan University. Being a bit of a wanderer, I found myself in Chicago working at an Ad Agency! My family and I moved to Greensboro about 8yrs ago, and loved having both mountains and Ocean available for our adventures. However, the never ending heat and humidity will not be missed. I enjoy getting outdoors daily, and perhaps it’s the Earth Science background, but I love taking the little ones outside and introducing them to the trees, flowers, birds, whatever we come across. Kids are such natural sponges, they soak it all in. Having the opportunity to smell or touch or hold something greatly improves their understanding of their environment.

Valerie has been AMAZING! We've been lucky to have her services for about 12 hours a week for the past year. She has beautifully cared for, taught and loved on our now 1.5 year-old son (who just adores her) while my wife and I both worked from home... as well as occasionally our now 4 year-old daughter (who also adores her!). Additionally, Valerie would support our child-care needs for weekends-away, sick-days etc. Valerie brought such love and attention to our kiddos, their evolving allergy needs and eagerly took them outside for daily walks and exploration. She has been a true gift. We are so sad that Valerie will be moving away, even though our youngest is starting school in the fall, we always hoped to continue relying on Valerie for her wonderful care of our young family. We hold her in the highest regard, and future families would be lucky to have Valerie as part of their child-raising village.

I also have creative and artistic talent, which in the past has helped with not just school projects, homework, but also with activities to help to build a child's imagination. Maureen was absolutely incredible with our girls! I have a 2 year old and 3 month old and she was able to watch them throughout a long weekend when we had numerous events to attend. My 2yr old is quite active and energetic and Maureen kept up with entertaining her amazingly. She also was so kind and sweet with my littlest one. It was such a piece of mind to have her as our sitter while we were on our trip and she truly treated them like family.

Hello! I’m Meemee—a 24-year-old University of Michigan graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. I currently work part-time as a certified pharmacy technician while preparing for graduate school, and I continue to offer occasional babysitting services for families seeking trusted, compassionate care. With over 9 years of hands-on childcare experience—from helping raise my younger siblings to supporting local families—I bring a calm, nurturing, and dependable presence to every home. I’ve supported children of all ages, from toddlers to teens, including those with special needs and medical complexities. My younger brother, who battled cancer for many years, was a central part of my life. As one of his primary caregivers, I developed not only practical care skills, but deep patience, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility. I’m certified in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen safety, and I have my own reliable transportation. I’m comfortable preparing meals, helping with homework, offering light tutoring, or simply making sure your children feel safe, engaged, and cared for in your absence. Whether you need last-minute help, after-school care, or support for date nights or weekends away, I’m here to provide peace of mind. If you’re looking for thoughtful, professional, heart-led care, I’d be honored to support your family.

* certified to work with special needs / austitic children* As the oldest sister of two young boys, I found myself being a mom, a friend, a teacher, and a counselor. Throughout the years of watching them grow, they have taught me so much about how to better communicate with kids, understanding their emotions/ how to work through them, creativity, and most importantly, patience. One of the biggest skills I have developed from my experience with kids is patience. I believe it is important to understand that this is their first time experiencing the world so it requires patience and understanding on our part for them to grow. I’m big on not only direct learning but also creative learning. I’ve worked with children in classroom settings in the past which has given me a good idea of learning strategies they respond to best. I’m also a certified RBT so I have experience working with children on the spectrum and it has taught me so much about how their mind works and what tools can be more beneficial for their growth. Finding new ways to make learning fun for kids is one of my favorite things because as a college student, I find myself needing a reminder that education can still be entertaining. To kids everything is so new and exciting and it’s a blast to be a part of that journey. My main goal is to be able to help children, especially young ones, to learn new and valuable skills that can later help them in life. From the basic things such as knocking homework out so you don’t worry about it later to, developing different ways to express themselves and building positive habits. I have experience with children as young as infants and I’ve worked in clinics and daycares to help increase my experience with younger children. I am comfortable changing diapers, feeding, and cleaning anything you need! Some things about me: * I speak french * Certified Registered Behavior Technician (Autistic Children) * I was a lifeguard for 2 1/2 years * I am CPR certified * I have done private swim lessons for kids 6+ * I cook and bake * Great at cleaning * Reliable * Good time management * Responsible

Sandrine has been hugely valuable to our family. Our entire family immediately took to her, giving this momma peace of mind. She babysat for us and even took care of the dog who doesn’t like many people. She kept the play area organized and made sure my instructions were followed, though better than that was her innate ability to bond with our 3yo. who felt safe, cared for, and understood while having lots of indoor/outdoor playtime, trail walks, playground and pool time. On the days she visited, our evenings were calm, where we could all unwind, dine, and get to bed. She was always professional, pleasant, fun, joyful, uplifting, caring, selfless, polite and kind - all characteristics we want our child to model. Always on time. Reliable. The BEST written and verbal communication skills of anyone I’ve seen and interviewed on sittercity. Sandrine is a true joy, a big part of our family who will be sorely be missed. Our family was very blessed by her calming presence in our lives. She was incredibly helpful, and always offered to assist when she saw something was needed. She set the bar high for future sitters!

Hello! My name is Monica and I started to work with kids through my dance studio, where I discovered my love for making an impact on children’s lives. I have 5 years of babysitting experience, mostly with children ages 2-12. While I babysit, I am always happy to help out with dishes, laundry, or even meal prep. Additionally, I’m a chemical engineering student, and by default a pretty good science tutor too! I have my own car and certifications in both CPR and first aid, so I am ready for any situation thrown at me.

My girls absolutely LOVE Monica! I have a 3 and 5 year old, who always have the best time when Monica babysits. From doing crafts and science experiments to going on walks and playing outside, they are always entertained. And bonus- we don’t come home to a disaster of a mess when we get back home. We don’t know what we would do without her service! ☺️

Hello! My name is Victoria! I received my Masters in social work and specialized my degree in infant mental health. I am passionate about working with children and have a lot of experience caring for them! I especially appreciate working with infants and would love to assist in postpartum support/the transition of now having a tiny human to care for. I work with postpartum patients in my current role as an OBGYN Psychotherapist and am excited to pursue my postpartum doula certification. With that, gaining additional experience with postpartum support right now would be very beneficial! I am very outgoing, optimistic, hardworking and punctual. I am also very comfortable and confident in providing care to infants/supporting new or existing caregivers! I would love to talk further about your needs and see if we could potentially be a good fit.
