I enjoy working with kid, I’ve been working at a before and after care for an elementary school. I am somewhat new to Child Care although it gives me experiences for the career I want to pursue. I am CPR certified/First Aid, bilingual in Spanish etc. In my senior year of high school I took a class to help a teacher out and see what it looks like behind a teacher's lens. I coached rec gymnastics for ages 3-10 and enjoyed working and see the kids improve. I am really excited to bring my passion out and hopefully build connections with kids. Wanting to gain experience but also supporting your families needs :)!

I absolutely adore working with children! It took me a while to figure that out. I tried farm work, bussing tables, making lattes, but nothing clicked. It wasn't until I got a job as a swim instructor that everything fell into place. That was the first time I'd ever felt excited to go to work. Excited to see their little eyes light up right before they dove headfirst into the water. Or gently pull them out into the water, letting them get comfortable enough to float on their own. Now that I'd discovered this niche, I wanted to expand my scope. What other childcare jobs could I get? So that summer I worked at a sleep away camp. This was the first time I'd gotten the chance to work with kids older than nine, or ten and it was a blast. Instead of being hodgepodge balls of energy and imagination, these kids had formulated opinions and built dreams. That was when I knew this was my path. I worked at another camp last summer and currently I'm working as an after school provider at Clonlara. It's been an absolute pleasure.
