Part Time Babysitter! ❤️ Hello Everyone! My name is Ava Denne-Brown, I’m from Albertville Minnesota, and I’m 20 years old. I am currently a full time online college student at Minnesota North Itasca. I’m in my second year of fully online college. I am CPR, AED, and First Aid Certified! I currently am employed at a childcare center in Maple Grove Minnesota as a Toddler Teacher. As of right now I’m working there 4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) from 6:45-4:45. On Thursdays I watch my little cousin. At the beginning of June I will be working at my center 5 days a week from 6:45-2:45. I have 5+ years of Early Childhood Education (Infants and Toddlers) + Elementary Aged Children (Prek-4th grade). On top of that I grew up watching my younger siblings and I also would babysit for neighbors and family friends. I also do a lot of babysitting outside of my center! I did volunteer work in the church. For 3 years I took care of children of all ages at church. Babies from 6 months to 1 year, and children from 2 to 10 years. With the babies, I helped take care of them by giving them bottles, changing their diapers and putting them to sleep. When they were awake, they played games to stimulate the baby's skills, such as painting, playing Legos or watching cartoons on TV. With the older children I did activities that also stimulate their development, such as drawing and painting, playful games, I gave them snacks and was always there to give them all the support they needed, and it was really cool, because at the same time I taught them, I also learned from them. to be patient and empathetic and to understand their needs.
