Hello future family, My Name is Annika, and I am a bubbly 29 year-old who lives in Woodbury, MN with my husband Nate, and our sweet goofball of a dog, Kota. We both love art and the outdoors, music and movies, and kids, although we don’t have our own (yet). Consider me your “modern Mary Poppins,” as I enjoy structure and continuous learning, but through adventure and play! I started my childcare career in fifth grade as a babysitter and continued doing so throughout the years. My love for kids (since I was a baby) came from my mom who was an in-home daycare provider for 10 years, and believed children learn best through having fun. Then, in high school, I became our church's nursery caregiver. Hi, I live in Murray Hill, NYC. I graduated from Boston College in May 2023 and work full-time in marketing remotely. I nannied throughout summers and taught dance to kids. I was on the D1 Pom team at BC. I don't have a car, but have a clean driving record, love pets, non-smoker. I owned an in-home childcare for 5 years, caring for children 8 weeks to age 9. The parents' favorite part was that I didn't use screens! Before the in-home, I was a Montessori preschool guide and assistant director. Over the years, I have had experience with all ages and classrooms.
