I have over six years of experience working with children of all ages in positions as both a teacher and a caregiver, and I adore what I do. I started off as a babysitter for family friends & people in my neighborhood, and later worked as both a first grade faith formation teacher and nursery attendant at my church. Throughout high school I taught musical theatre classes for children 3-12 at a studio in Minneapolis. I've nannied for the past two summers, most recently for a family with a year and a half old daughter and a 13 week old daughter, and I would really love to nanny again this summer. Outside of working with children, I'm currently a BFA Acting student at Columbia College Chicago. I have three years of dance training, nine years of training as a singer, and five years of piano. I love to be outside, especially in the summer, and I love to bake.

I am a grandmother of four wonderful energetic children aged 6, two 3 yr olds and a 2 yr old. I often take all four to the park, have picnics and even have wild slumber parties at grandmas house. I love children and truly enjoy playing, being creative and teaching new things. Reading to children is one of my favorite things to do, singing if they’ll let me. I am patient, kind, and nurturing as I know children need this more than anything. Being a grandma has been a true joy for me and I enjoy children and all the laughter and fun they bring.

I am currently a lead toddler teacher at a center and am currently in school to become an OTA. I have lots of experience with all ages but the most of it is from preschool ages (3m-5yo), specializing in toddler ages. I enjoy working with kids and watching them grow into their own person.

I first started on sitter city in 2008. It did not take long to meet and care for the children of several families. Many of the relationships were long term so I became inactive on the site. My last family moved just before Covid took hold. I had just updated my child infant CPR and first aid as I intended to start looking again. That didn’t happen because of Covid so I’m starting again now. I did raise 6 children of my own, worked as a nanny for 10 years and have been actively babysitting for Sittercity families for 10 years. I’m looking for occasional sitting opportunities in my area. I am a recent college graduate working as a youth outdoor education leader at a local outdoor access and inclusivity-focused organization. I really enjoy working with and caring for kids. I have been babysitting for neighbors and helping with childcare since I was around 10 or 11 years old.
