I first started on sitter city in 2008. It did not take long to meet and care for the children of several families. Many of the relationships were long term so I became inactive on the site. My last family moved just before Covid took hold. I had just updated my child infant CPR and first aid as I intended to start looking again. That didn’t happen because of Covid so I’m starting again now. I did raise 6 children of my own, worked as a nanny for 10 years and have been actively babysitting for Sittercity families for 10 years. I’m looking for occasional sitting opportunities in my area. My CPR is up to date and I would love to interview with your family.

I am a recent college graduate working as a youth outdoor education leader at a local outdoor access and inclusivity-focused organization. I really enjoy working with and caring for kids. I have been babysitting for neighbors and helping with childcare since I was around 10 or 11 years old. I have been a mothers helper for babies only a couple of months old and have worked as a mentor with early high school-aged youth. Through my own high school experience I coached the youngest age group the 3-4 year old's and 5-6 year old's in youth soccer. The past couple of summers I have worked as a Farm and Nature Educator and Counselor at a nature summer camp and work as a Summer Enrichment Teacher at an afterschool/summer program. I am certified and trained in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED through the American Red Cross. I've always loved being imaginative and creative and engaging with kids in play-based ways when working in childcare. Additionally, I really value my role in encouraging and creating an environment where kids can be curious and safely explore the world around them!
