My name is Kaitlyn Phee, and I am the Lead Twos Teacher at Mother's Day Out Preschool in Columbia, Missouri. I am currently studying Early Childhood Education online at Grand Canyon University to further my career as a toddler teacher. While earning my degree, I am working full time running my own classroom teaching two year olds basic vocabulary, numbers, concepts, and skills in a play-based but academically motivated learning environment. Teaching and working with kids has been my passion as long as I can remember. In high school, I worked as a volleyball coach at HEAT Volleyball Club in Wisconsin, coaching the VolleySeeds program that worked with kids aged 4-9, as well as assistant coaching the 15s and 12s teams. I've also been babysitting since I was 15 years old. While I primarily work with toddlers at the preschool, I have experience babysitting and taking care of kids of all ages ranging from infant to thirteen. I am also certified in basic first aid and CPR. Outside of working with kids, my hobbies include outdoor activities like hiking and biking, cooking, reading, and sports.
