Hi! My name is Mariah. I’m 19 years old and a licensed hairstylist with a strong background in childcare. I’ve been a gymnastics coach for 3 years, working with children ages 2.5–15, and I have over 4 years of experience caring for children with special needs, including both nonverbal and verbal children. I’m patient, dependable, and very comfortable working with kids of all abilities. I’m available weekdays starting at 3:30 PM and have open availability on weekends starting at 12 PM. I am a nanny with over 18 years of childcare experience. I originally started out just babysitting for neighbors and family friends as a teenager. I loved it so much I would spend entire summers taking care of children and watching them grow and learn. Eventually, an occasional babysitting job turned into a full time nanny position and I never looked back. Personally, I find it so rewarding to be able to see the world through a child's eyes every day. To watch them grow and develop their own interests, and to be there to encourage that growth and a curiosity for the world around them is such a privilege. I pride myself on my patience because I know that sometimes figuring out this life and all its complicated emotions can be a really difficult thing for a child, and I want to be a listening ear and a comfort during those trying times. I am up to date with CPR and First Aid certifications and am a registered foster parent with a clean background.

i love kids it makes me happy to bond and help them whenever i can, i’m far too young to have kids but by babysitting it helps me know like what i would need to be doing. i’m also still young in the heart so i love love hanging out with them and playing with them, even cooking because i love cooking. kids melt my heart and i know i would take great care of your kiddos!!

I don't have any kids of my own because I've dedicated my life to all of the other amazing children around me. I was raised in a super creative home and that shows in how I work with kids.
