Hi! My name is Brittany J, I absolutely love working with children of all ages. I’m currently a nursing student at Belhaven University with years of hands-on experience caring for little ones, from newborns to school-aged kids. For nearly three years, I work as a student nurse tech in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where I’ve developed a deep passion for caring for newborns and infants. Right now, I’m also completing a pediatric externship at the children’s hospital in the float pool, which has allowed me to gain valuable experience with children across all developmental stages. Whether it’s soothing a fussy baby, helping with homework, or keeping toddlers entertained, I truly enjoy forming meaningful bonds with the children I care for. I’m reliable, patient, and attentive to each child’s unique needs. I’m also open to overnight babysitting and comfortable handling routines for children of all ages. With a strong background in healthcare and a nurturing heart, I strive to create a safe, fun, and caring environment for your child—giving you peace of mind when you’re away. Looking forward to meeting your family!

Hello, my name is Arianna Smith I am 26 years old and have been in childcare for about five years. I currently work as a full-time lead twos teacher at Bright Horizons where it is required to be CPR/First aid certified and trained in areas such as food safety, SIDS prevention/awareness, etc. Alongside being a lead teacher, I regularly babysit on the weekends or evenings after work for families that I have met through Sittercity or some of the children I teach. I have been in childcare for the past five years where I have worked at two other daycares with children between the ages of six months to four years old. From meal prepping, lesson planning, hands-on, motor skill focused activities, outside play, and introducing the children to different forms of music through guitar and flute, I have had vast experiences in my short yet memorable time as a childcare provider. I have a valid drivers license, am fully vaccinated and will have a flexible schedule.

Hey parents! My name is Madison, but I go by Maddie. I'm currently in school for my master's degree in clinical social work. I have been working with children for over 4 years now. I started as a babysitter for my cousins, and then continued as a preschool teacher while in college. I have experience with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. I also have experience with children who have special needs. I love being a sitter because I enjoy helping children develop, as well as being a positive role model for them. I love getting creative with activities, whether it's crafting, playing games, or helping with school projects. I'm excited to combine my love for kids and creativity in a part-time sitter role, making sure your little one is having a great time while learning.

Hi! My name is Linhyen like "minion"! But you may call me Lin. Most kids know me by "Ms. Lin" or "Ms. L"! I am 29 & have been blessed to be married to my wonderful husband for a little over 6 years. We currently live in Jackson, MS in the Belhaven area! I'm looking for part-time work 16-24 hours a week for 2-3 weekdays around 9am-5pm! I do have the option of opening up our home for childcare Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays as well. (Wednesdays will start in November). I started babysitting in 2016 & have 3-4 years of experience, ranging from newborn to 11 years old. I also worked as a Mother's Day Out Teacher for about 3 years for newborns, infants, & toddlers 1-5 years old. I taught kids their basic ABCs, 123s, shapes, numbers, fed them, helped potty train, change diapers, etc. I've also cared for autistic kids & one adult & worked in the kids' ministry & childcare for church for about 4 years. I also took First-Aid & CPR & still have the certificate, but it expired! I'm willing to retake them though if you'd like! My husband & I also do currently share a car. He uses it for work, but I can be dropped off/picked up. I have taken the family's car when needed for the kids, but totally up to you! If we do the in-home childcare option, all you'd have to do is drop them off & pick them up between the hours of 9-5! :) My current rate is $15-20 an hour for up to 2 kids max. I can watch 3 if it's me going to your place, but only 2 at a time if it's my place. You can always nanny share & split the cost with another family to make it more affordable. Looking forward to being your new sitter! :)

I was a child care director for over 5 years I have worked with all ages 6weeks to 18 years olds. I have had the privilege of working with children in various capacities, which has greatly enriched my understanding of their developmental needs and interests. My experience began as a volunteer at a local after-school program, where I assisted with homework help and organized recreational activities. This role taught me how to create engaging and educational environments that foster learning and creativity. I later took on a position as a camp counselor, where I planned and led activities that promoted teamwork and problem solving skills. Through these experiences, I learned to communicate effectively with children of different ages, adapting my approach to meet their individual needs and encouraging their self expression. Overall, my background has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the joys and challenges of working with young people, and I am committed to supporting their growth in a nurturing and positive manner.
