I have 6 months of daycare experience where I became the lead teacher in the 1-2 year old room. I loved watching their minds grow and teaching them, it blows my mind how smart little ones are! I also have been individually babysitting for many different families for over three years where I have become their “Aunt Raegan”. The past three summers I have been a lifeguard and more recently the supervisor, I have certified lifeguard experience, first aid certification, and CPR/ BLS certification. In addition to this, I am also the oldest of 9 grandchildren so I am always the go to when it comes to needing help. I am also in nursing school!

Hello I’m McKenzie! I reside in MS, but is very much wanting and willing to move out of state for the right family. I can’t honestly say why taking care of children is an interest because it’s a natural calling. Especially being the oldest of 4 and the oldest grandchild of 8 taken care of the younger ones was a duty. Other than relatives children have always drawn to me and that was noticed, so in high school I received my first sitter job. Eventually I gained opportunities, but after 4 years I needed more consistency. After graduating I landed one of my first jobs as a daycare/ toddler teacher. I absolutely loved it! Having these experiences helped me understand what it takes dealing with children; having patience, great communication, emotional intelligence, engagement, and compassion. These skills sound great, but they have much more meaning and value. Bringing meaning and value to little lives is so important and having the right person is even more essential.

Hi there, I’ve had a special gift since I was a teenager to interact and bond with children. It sounds odd but I didn’t go to college because all I’ve ever wanted to do was take care of kids. From the age of 11/12 I’ve volunteered in the nursery/preschool at church. As a teen I babysat nieces and nephews and family friends children. When I was 18 I ran a in-home daycare with 5 children all under 5. While I was engaged in my early twenties I was a Nanny to a wonderful family whose children were 8 and 10 for a year but I got married and my husband went on the pipeline. I’ve stayed volunteering in church in all the children’s department. I’ve been pulled out of service before to help with “difficult” children- although I never l look at them as difficult they just want to be heard and understood. I currently watch an infant as needed. I have children of my own but they’re all in school now and I want to get back in the work force! Let me know if you have any questions.
