I’m what everyone would consider an all around sweetheart. I’ve been a helper since the day one. I’m the oldest of my siblings so I’ve always had to be a teacher,leader and a friend. I spent 10years in the medical field in which I worked in a lab and worked on the kids mental health floor. I currently work with kids a behavior trainer. The most rewarding thing about my job is seeing how the kids I work with look forward to seeing me. My long term goal is to own my own Autistic Learning Center.

I have been a caregiver in some form for over 15 years. Whether that be the trusted babysitter for various families over the years, working in the daycare setting, being the caregiver for an adult with autism/developmental disabilities, after school care, or putting my Registered Behavior Technician certification to use working with individuals with autism/developmental disabilities. We currently live in Jackson, MS in the Belhaven area! I'm looking for part-time work 16-24 hours a week for 2-3 weekdays around 9am-5pm! I do have the option of opening up our home for childcare Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays as well. (Wednesdays will start in November). I started babysitting in 2016 & have 3-4 years of experience, ranging from newborn to 11 years old. I also worked as a Mother's Day Out Teacher for about 3 years for newborns, infants, & toddlers 1-5 years old. I taught kids their basic ABCs, 123s, shapes, numbers, fed them, helped potty train, change diapers, etc. I've also cared for autistic kids & one adult & worked in the kids' ministry & childcare for church for about 4 years. I also took First-Aid & CPR & still have the certificate, but it expired! I'm willing to retake them though if you'd like! My husband & I also do currently share a car. He uses it for work, but I can be dropped off/picked up. I have taken the family's car when needed for the kids, but totally up to you! If we do the in-home childcare option, all you'd have to do is drop them off & pick them up between the hours of 9-5! :) My current rate is $15-20 an hour for up to 2 kids max. I can watch 3 if it's me going to your place, but only 2 at a time if it's my place. You can always nanny share & split the cost with another family to make it more affordable.
