I have been blessed with a lifetime of involvement with children. Having much older siblings, I was a child aunt. I have one son aged 33, plus helped raise a second child during his preschool years. I am a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant with training in childcare but not currently employed in healthcare. For the last 2 years I have been a nanny for 2 girls, now 4 months and 24 month. I started watching kids while I was 13, watching over my younger siblings and babysitting my neighbors' kids and my mom's friends' children. I began falling in love with children when I was always just playing with them and staying active. Babysitting kids really teaches you a lot that you thought you couldn't learn from a child and their so creative and energetic it always keeps you on your toes wanting to learn more. I began actually babysitting when I was 16, to try and help me earn some money on the side while doing what I love and now I do it to help pay for college.
