Since that time, I've accumulated over two decades of diverse experience working with young children and their families as a preschool teacher, private nanny, and Early Learning Program administrator in our community. Some of my strengths as a caregiver include open/honest communication with families, maintaining a growth-mindset, creativity/imaginative play, de-escalation, outdoor learning, and household organization. I love pets/animals, spending time outside, music, messy art, and thrive when/where I can be helpful. Hi! I’m Erynne! I’ve been sitting/caring for others in some capacity for the last 30 years. I have some experience as a special ed teacher from my early years of teacher training, as well as parenting children of my own. I am currently working on my degree in early childhood development and psychology. I have experience with trauma informed care and have a more playful approach to children and their needs. I have been a teacher for 12 years at a private preschool in Vero Beach Florida and I have taught children from ages 2 to 5. During the summer months when he is not in school I make his lunch, take him to his sporting events, go over any lessons he needs to work on, bike ride, art activities, free play, read with him and bathe him and get him ready for dinner. I have also babysat for a family every Wednesday night for the last 5 years so the parents can have a date night. The children’s ages are 2,4,6,8 and 10. I also babysit several times a month for different families when I am called. I have been babysitting for over 12 years now. I have my CDA certification, am a member of NAEYC and I have my CPR/AED certification as well. I also maintain NAEYC hours and DCF hours every year through workshops and training courses. I am vaccinated and have my booster shot for Covid. I speak primarily English but can speak some Spanish as well. I love being a teacher, nanny and babysitter because although they are very different jobs from one another, the common denominator is that all of the children just want love, support and to feel safe. And I feel it is my job as an educator and advocate for children to provide them with a space where they are comfortable enough to express themselves.
