I love kids! I wish I had 20 of them. I’m a cosmetologist and have worked cutting kids hair while entertaining them for the last 2 years at Cookie Cutters in Durham. I love and miss those little ones but I had to relocate to the Greenville area. I never want to see a child hurting or abused. I have loving healthy grandchildren of my own. For the past 13 years I have worked as a teacher in the early childhood education field. In those 13 years I have received training in SIDS, CPR & First Aid, playground safety, child abuse & neglect and other trainings. I attained my Early Childhood Education credentials. I am nurturing and loving towards my students or children. I change their diapers, warm or prepare food, warm bottles, create lesson plans, monitor them while they sleep, take them outside and work on motor skills. I go the extra mile for my children that I am responsible for. I chose to work with children because I am passionate about children. It is one of my many gifts and talents. I love being a sitter because I live kids and they bring me joy. I have not been a sitter for 2 years now, but my past jobs those years was being a camp counselor, in which I had one or two other counselors help me with about 20 kids! My skills are through babysitting before and also being a counselor, but also I like to connect to the kids, play the games they like, try to practice the sport they like, and also be some what stern with them depending on the situation, and how the parents rules are!
