I am an experienced mother, nanny and retired nurse. My nursing back ground is varied, the most recent pediatrics, school nursing. I love providing care and actively engaging with babies and children. My primary interest is supporting families with in home care for newborns through preschool age. Fully vaccinated and boosted for covid. Former family circumstances changed and my 2-4 day nanny employment ended. I was with this wonderful little person from 8 weeks through 8 months. Since that time, I've accumulated over two decades of diverse experience working with young children and their families as a preschool teacher, private nanny, and Early Learning Program administrator in our community. I have been blessed with a lifetime of involvement with children. Having much older siblings, I was a child aunt. I have one son aged 33, plus helped raise a second child during his preschool years. I am a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant with training in childcare but not currently employed in healthcare. For the last 2 years I have been a nanny for 2 girls, now 4 months and 24 month. Hi, I’m new to the app, but not new to babysitting! Hi, I’m 28 y/o, grew up in California. I personally enjoy yoga, nature, animals, culture especially Spanish, travel, music, art, baking and being with animals. I have babysat, nannied, done au pair work, been a camp counselor, and worked in a summer nursery. I started around my teen years and have come back to working with children about every other year. I did au pair in Spain with two families two kids each around 8-11. The most kids I’ve looked over in a home was 5 all under 8 y/o, where three families shared a communal house. I was a camp counselor with Camp Opportunity in Santa Cruz, Ca with foster children ages 11-13. The nursery I worked with in Felton, Ca was for a Christian summer camp and was infants to 3 y/o. I’ve done pick up from day care and drop off as well, I’ve walked kids to their bus stop, or back and forth from lunch break. Of all ages I’ve mostly worked with 2-9 y/o. It really depends on their temperament if I can care for multiple kids. I can cook about anything and enjoy baking. I am physically fit and enjoy being outdoors. I got great grades in school and can help at homework time. I love pets, as long as they’re nice. I know basic Spanish. I have been CPR certified in the past but not currently updated. I have my own car that fits 4 passengers and a clean record.

Hello! I’m Margaret. A little about me- I was born and raised in NC, I have lived and traveled to many places but always end up coming home. I was raised as a traditional ballerina, so dance has an extremely special place in my heart! I love being outside. Exploring and finding new hikes, heading out on camping trips on the weekends! You can also find me reading or doing genealogical research and studies! My goal as a Nanny is to nurture, teach, guide and protect. I take pride in the fact that I care deeply, I am dependable and loving. I have cared for ages newborn - 12. I have also worked in a preschool and had such a wonderful experience, as I come from a long maternal line of educators. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes laundry, dishwashing, vacuuming, keeping the play area clean, and helping the children’s rooms stay tidy. I am more than willing to run errands too. Children get along with me because I focus on them and on fun.  I love working with children.  I enjoyed being a Gymboree teacher for 3 years (learning through play for babies - 3 year olds) and only left because I moved.  I've had about 10 years of Nanny experience and I have had many small positions and training opportunities to bolster my work with children.  These include co-teaching 2 Smithsonian Summer camps, to bringing a summer camp on wheels to Key West resorts.   I can give you excellent references. 

I have worked at a fitness based educational facility with children ages 2-11, babysat for all ages, and held two full time nannying positions. I am currently nannying for a sweet 1 year old boy who I have been with since he was 3 months. Taking care of kids is very rewarding for me. I love watching them learn and grow and being a part of their experience!
