My main reason for making myself available on this platform is to help parents of children with special needs find reliable, worry-free child care. Having worked in the Behavioral Therapy (ABA) world for over a decade, I know how hard it can be to find child care for a kiddo with atypical behaviors; and that it's against the rules for most companies who provide therapy services to also provide babysitting. My experience includes: Autism, ADHD, ODD, Down Syndrome, OCD, anxiety, dyslexia, dysgraphia, aggression, sensory processing, deaf/hearing impaired, learning disabilities, and children in need of general behavioral shaping. I am a Certified Behavior Technician, semi-fluent in ASL (American sing language), NC Early Educator Certified, and CPR/First Aid trained. Professionally, I have assumed roles as an Assistant teacher in a Headstart program and a substitute teacher in elementary through high school classrooms.
