My mom ran a home daycare for 15 years, and for as long as I can remember, I knew I wanted to work with and care for children when I grew older. I grew up helping my mom with my 2 younger sisters, at the age of 5 I could change a diaper, make a bottle, and care for an infant/toddler. At the age of 13 I started babysitting and since then have babysat children from the ages of 2 months to 8 years old. I have volunteered at Providence Preschool in Harrisburg, NC working with mainly the 1-2 year olds but also helped out with the 3 and 4 year old classes. I have substituted at Westford Preschool in Concord, NC in all of the classes they offer (2-4 years old). I have taken many childcare and medical classes in high school. I am very knowledgeable in child care, I am very comfortable with performing CPR and the Heimlich remover, however my CPR certification is expired but I will be willing to update it if need be. I enjoy cleaning the house and doing laundry as well as preparing meals. I have 2 dogs at my house so pets aren't an issue. I will also be more than willing to take your children out to the park or to any practices as well as pick them up from school/daycare. I drive a 2004 Ford Explorer with a clean driving record and I don't smoke.
