For the past two summers, I’ve been an overnight camp counselor at YMCA Camp Cheerio in Roaring Gap, responsible for kids 24/7 while creating a fun, safe, and structured environment. Here I led activities for children ages 6-16 and stayed in a cabin with children ages 8-11. I’ve also completed a counselor-in-training summer intensive program, so I’m really comfortable handling different ages, staying organized, and keeping kids engaged. Throughout my time at Westminster University I worked part time for a business in Utah called Park City Sitters, where I babysat for various ages and group sizes. In high school I spent two winters teaching ski lessons to kids ages 3 through 7, with group sizes ranging from two through fifteen.
