I have been wanting to get into child care for a long time as I have been doing extensive research into adopting my own child some day . This will give me the perfect opportunities to prepare for my future child. I have been hired previously at a local YMCA to help children with homework and afterschool activities. I have babysat my toddler cousins almost every summer while I was in school. There has been times where I housesat and babysit 2 dogs for my manager while they went on vacation for a week. I own a little dog of my own she is 4 years old. I have had my CPR certifications and will continue to renew as that is very important skill to have when dealing with children. I am willing to get other certifications as needed to make myself better suited to care for kids.

Hello I’m Naketa and I have been doing paid childcare for a little over 9 years. I have been doing childcare in general for 19 years total. I love children and even when I was in high school I took a childhood education class during that time we were able to go work in two daycare facilities. I have did volunteer work at two Headstart Centers and have some Early Childhood Credits. I’m also a Nurse Aide 1 and CPR Certified. I have worked in the Iredell County School System with a young lady that was 5 that needed one on one care at school that had autism. I have experience in working with toddlers and teens that have disabilities as well. It just has always been my passion to care for children and to make sure they are in a safe environment. I know that I checked that I will not work with pets but it all depends on the animal I am allergic to cat hair so it will definitely not be a cat but we can talk about the animal.
