My name is Victoria, everyone calls me Tori. I’m 30 years old. I have 4 kids. I use to work in a daycare but I came home because afterschool care can be outrageous for 4 kids. All my kids are in school so I figured it would be easier to babysit someone else who needs help. I have my credentials to work in a daycare and I’ve also been cpr certified! I love kids and their little creative minds!

My caregiver experience started at a very young age with family, friends and so on. Task I would take on would be things like cooking, cleaning and entertaining. I love meal planning and preparing for others and it’s another one of my passions. I’ll be enrolling in university in spring for Psychology as I do wish to be a teacher and spread the joy of learning and love with young ones.

I have a natural love of children and got my start babysitting when I was just eleven. As the oldest sibling of five, I was a natural. Mature for my age, and with strong nurturing instincts I had many repeat clients all through my teens. As an adult, I earned my BS in Psychology from Brigham Young University(2005). There is so much to learn about infant development, social, behavioral, and abnormal Pschology, I loved every minute of it! When my husband and I moved to take his first job in Louisiana, it was a natural choice for me to watch young children in our home. After I had our first child, a year later, I was offered an ideal job as the on-site Nanny at Earth Search Inc, my husband's place of employment. It was a great fit for our family, until we moved to Lexington KY for my husband to persue graduate school. While raising our young children I organized Mom's into a co-op preschool and babysitting swap. It was an ever-changing challenge, and I learned so much! I held teaching and leadership roles in our Church's children's organization, a joy which continued when we moved to Wilson, NC in 2013. Now that my children are all in school, I am looking for an opportunity to work with children primarily during school hours and occasional evenings available for date nights. In this way, I can maintain a healthy life-balance. I would be honored to cherish your little ones while you are away!

Growing up helping my mother with my siblings at a young age has taught me a lot about kids growing up, I love babysitting kids aside from my siblings of course! Spending time with kids helping them learn basic skills can be very fun and very helpful not just for them but for myself into learning new things about them.
