I have approximately one year of professional experience working in a daycare setting, along with seven years of babysitting and pet-sitting experience. I'm just a natural with kiddos! When my closest friends and family need someone for a few hours or overnight, sometimes even weekends I'm the 1st call on their list! I have 8+ years of child care experience (most comfortable with ages infant to 5 years old as that is where all of my experience is!) I just have a genuine passion and A LOT of patience with getting to be a role model for our upcoming generation and being able to help care for little ones here and there when needed! I lived in full time with my sister until she got married and moved out of state last year and helped her FULL TIME (with my niece from ages 2-5 and as needed from when she was born up to the ages mentioned, and my nephew from ages 6 months to right at 3 years!) from waking up, getting ready for and going to daycare/school, cleaning up and tidying the house until time to get them from daycare/school and from there engaging them in child appropriate activities (even helped them learn how to ride their bikes), helping my nephew with his speech, reading my niece books and helping her learn to read, fixing supper, getting baths, toilet training, bedtime, the whole 9 yards! So I have PLENTY of experience! I am very patient as mentioned above! I love to have craft time, playing outdoors to help unload some energy, I also pay close attention as I know kiddos can sometimes be curious and/or just sneaky lol so I always put my full time into spending time with and keeping watch of the kiddos till parents are home! Also I definitely am good at keeping parents updated weather through messages, Snapchat, FaceTime, whatever is most comfortable for you! Along with following schedules!
