A typical day includes academic activities suitable for the child's age group, outside play and nature based learning, crafts and sensory play that help develop fine motor skills as well as imagination, field trips that enhance the child's understanding of the academic unit we are working on, and so much more! I believe that providing a child with a warm, healthy, balanced meals is an absolute must. I very much enjoy cooking, and love to incorporate some fun educational lessons while working in the kitchen (all activities are age appropriate, of course!). I do not allow much television/electronic use, and prefer tablets are not in use while I am working. When your child is older they will cherish memories from their childhood, and watching the hundredth episode of Doc McStuffins isn't exactly something that is going to stick with them. Halfway through my time with one of my most beloved nanny families I became a mother and welcomed a beautiful little girl into this world. She is as smart as she is kind, and is just an absolute joy to be around. She grew up with my nanny child, who was 18 months older than her. I love the joy that comes with every smile, hug, and giggle! I would simply love to be your Nanny McPhee!
