I have lots of hands-on experience with kiddos, from tiny infants to energetic 13-year-olds. I spent about five years working with the Autism Society of North Carolina and I also worked for a Behavioral Health company as a Behavioral Technician , supporting children with diverse needs through structure, creativity, patience, and lots of encouragement. I currently work in Childwatch at the YMCA, where I help create a safe, fun space so parents can enjoy a workout or a little well-deserved self-care. I’m also the oldest of four girls, so babysitting has been part of my life for as long as I can remember! From bedtime routines and snack time to imaginative play and calming big emotions, I’m comfortable jumping into all parts of a child’s world. Hey I’m Maggie and I love kids and animals! I grew up on a farm surrounded by all different kind of animals so it’s a plus if you have pets. I started babysitting at 13 and did it on and off throughout the years for multiple families and am now 22. I’ve Not done any since the pandemic but I miss it and want to get back into it! I’ve been told I’m very good with kids and I treat them as if they were my own. I can promise you that I will always have their best interests at heart, keep them safe, entertained and of course happy! I’m open to taking kids to places such as the park, library, movies etc… or even just staying at home! I myself love the outdoors and thinks it’s the best place to be so in good weather spending as much time outside is key!
