Hello, I’m a mother of 3 grown children and Grammy to 4. I was a stay at home mom until my youngest was old enough to attend school. once he started school, I started working for Target. I was a Guest Service Lead for over 12 years. When my daughter needed childcare I left to take care of my 3 (at the time) grandchildren. I took care of them for over 2 years. I’m currently a special needs Para and have been doing it for over 2 years. I love children and pet.

I have eight years of experience with kids. This experience has mostly come from teaching in various forms including dance, piano, and traditional academics. Additionally, I have experience babysitting and being a parent’s helper. I am comfortable with all aspects of childcare (such as feeding milk/solids, diapers, driving, naps, bedtime, enrichment…). I am also comfortable with a variety of animals and happy to assist in their care.

A bit about me: I would describe myself as easygoing, quiet, calm, mature, hardworking, resilient, kind, observant, accepting, and a good listener. Though I am more of a homebody, it is still vital to get out now and then. As a self-described nature enthusiast, I find just being outside, preferably surrounded by trees or woods, as well as going on long walks and hiking, relaxing. I also enjoy exploring antique shops, love animals of all kinds, and am an avid music listener. I am Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. Currently, I am a full-time online student at NHTI, a local community college in my town, just ten minutes away from where I live. I enrolled for an associate's degree majoring in Early Childhood Education. After graduating, I plan to start as an assistant teacher and, one day, become a full-time one. So far, it has been such a great experience. Presently, as part of the degree program, the most enjoyable part is working directly with young children while volunteering at the daycare center on my college's campus.
