Hi, my name is Kaitlyn Bossart and I have a few years of experience working with children! I spend my senior year of high school working as a daycare Aide at Sugar and spice Preschool in Weare, NH after school. I would play with the kids, assist during nap time, ensure their safety at all times, and clean up at the end of the day. Then, I spent two years during college as a pediatric nursing assistant, where I was also BLS certified, and worked with disabled children. This was a very rewarding job as I got to assist the children with activities of daily living, help with feeding, plan activities for the children, perform tracheostomy care, and put the children to bed at the end of the day. I enjoy children because of their liveliness and I find i have natural empathy, and compassion, which works well. (In some ways they are easier to interact with than adults!) I have experience working with children ages 4 and 5 and older. I am currently working in a daycare center but I am looking to branch out a bit, because I feel the program I am working at is not very enlightened. I feel childhood is possibly the most important time of life and it's our job as caregivers to help children feel safe, seen, and heard. I
