I have eight years of experience with kids. This experience has mostly come from teaching in various forms including dance, piano, and traditional academics. Additionally, I have experience babysitting and being a parent’s helper. I am comfortable with all aspects of childcare (such as feeding milk/solids, diapers, driving, naps, bedtime, enrichment…). I am also comfortable with a variety of animals and happy to assist in their care.

My name is Haley. I am 23 years old. I currently live in Concord. I am available all summer from the end of June to the end of August. I am First Aid and CPR certified. After I left that job, I promised myself that I would never work a job I wasn't passionate about ever again. When I turned 16, I began working at a before and after school program as well as a summer camp (ages 5-14) until I was 20. I also worked one summer at an outdoor summer camp as well. I graduated college with a degree in elementary education in 2023 and have been working as a first grade teacher. Through these experiences, I have gained extensive knowledge and developed essential skills that help me create positive interactions with the children I care for.

I have been in childcare for a few years now, but I love babysitting on the side! I’d ideally love to become a nanny, but haven’t been able to fully leave the childcare world yet. I have always been around kids and love to be around them. I have a few years of schooling where I just got my Lead certification within Early Ed and am going for my degree!!

I am a licensed massage therapist for the last 13 years but I have babysat and taken care of kids on and off for years. I love kids and they seem to love me too. Hello! My name is Allison, and I’m a recent college graduate looking for part-time child care work. Through my undergraduate experience studying education and anthropology, I developed a deep appreciation for connection and communication with all people- especially kids! As a part of my degree program, I have completed significant coursework in human development, with a focus on effective learning environments and holistic education. Outside of the classroom, I have worked as a substitute teacher in both New Hampshire and Connecticut, delivering lesson plans and filling in for absent teachers/educational professionals across the school day. For the past 5 years, I have worked at a summer camp in Amherst, NH, moving into a supervisory position in 2024. In addition to running daily camp activities through the summer, my role includes managing a staff of 6 full-time counselors, providing behavioral management support/redirection, and coordinating field trips to many exciting places across the state. As an environmental-education facility, I have also assisted in teaching lessons to school groups, as well as hosting site events and workshops. Through my work, I have maintained an active CPR, AED, and FirstAid certification. In my spare time, I love being outside and interacting with the natural world and all that it has to offer. I have worked in sustainability for the past several years, focusing on implementing educational programming for PK-aged students about the environment. I love running, hiking, climbing, and a plethora of additional activities that allow me to experience the incredible natural world. I have found joy in introducing these activities and encouraging a sustained interest in being outside with kids of all ages. In addition to outdoor activity, I am a craft/art enthusiast and am always exploring new creative hobbies to pursue and integrate into my teaching. I also enjoy reading, cooking, drawing, and crocheting! My child-care philosophy centers around getting to know the family that I’m working with in a meaningful way, and catering my interests to those of the children that I’m working with.
