Rita did a fabulous job caring for our 7 month old while we were visiting Ogunquit, Maine. Rita communicated well with us leading up to and during the babysitting gig, and she was very playful and caring with our baby. We look forward to hiring Rita again for the next time we are visiting the area!

Oriah M., Child Care in Lee, NH 03861 with 7 years of paid experience

Hi my name is Oriah and I am very passionate about kids. I love kids of all ages but especially love babies. I have recently graduated from UNH with a degree in Human Development & Family Studies and a minor in Anthropology. I have an array of experiences working with children. I have newborn experience, and have had long term nanny positions with multiple families. I also have experience working at a preschool. I am patient, energetic and goofy. I love art and being creative as well as the outdoors. I think it is extremely important for children to develop a loving relationship with nature and the outdoors. I think the most important factor for a babysitter and a family is to have open communication. I hope you consider hiring me as your babysitter because I truly enjoy working with children. Please message me if you need help! I am currently looking for 25-30 hours a week this Spring/Summer

Oriah was wonderful. Prompt and communicative, asked thoughtful and thorough questions about our daughter's care. Our daughter took to her immediately and we felt very confident with her care while we were out. We would not hesitate to use Oriah again.

Hi! My name is Eve, and I’m currently a sophomore at UNH. I am looking for a babysitting position. I’ve been working with kids since I was 15 at a summer camp and babysitting here and there in between, so I have lots of experience with kids of all ages. When I’m home during school breaks I work at a daycare so I would love to continue working with kids while at college! I also have plenty of experience house-sitting and pet-sitting, and I’m comfortable with all animals (no allergies!). I’m responsible, reliable, and I’d love to find a great family to work with while I’m at school!

Hello, I am a mom of three children ages 12, 11 and 8.  My children are all in school full days now and I am interested in helping families part time (mother's hours).  I am available from about 8:30 -2:00 depending on the distance I need to travel.  I am also available to provide overnight care for newborns/infants. I am a certified teacher who left teaching after the birth of my third child to be home with my family.  I love working with children!  For the past several years I have really enjoyed my work as a postpartum doula.  I work to help families adjust after the arrival of a new baby or babies.  I have worked with families having their first baby as well as expanding families who just need an extra set of hands.  I have experience with multiples as well as special needs infants/children.  I help the family with siblings, light housework, laundry, breastfeeding support, and of course infant care if mom just needs a rest. I am available for general childcare as well as my doula work.  I am happy to provide reference upon request.  Thankyou, Leighann

Sagia was nothing short of amazing! Highly recommend. She was able jump right in when my childcare fell through and keep my two year old entertained while I worked from home. My daughter had separation anxiety at first knowing I was in the next room but Sagia was able to calm her. By the end she was happy as a clam and giving Sagia hugs!

Jessica P., Child Care in Lee, NH 03861 with 6 years of paid experience

Hello! My name is Jessica, and I’m excited to introduce myself. I hold an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree to further expand my knowledge and skills in the field. I’ve most recently worked as a center director, a role that has provided me with invaluable experience in managing programs, overseeing staff, and ensuring that children receive high-quality care. However, since the birth of my daughter in July, I’ve realized that I’m looking for a change. The demands of my current position have made it challenging to find the right work-life balance, and I would love to explore a new opportunity that allows me to be more present with her. Ideally, I’m seeking a position that would allow me to bring my daughter along with me while continuing to contribute to the field I’m so passionate about. I believe this would provide the best of both worlds for me—being able to support my career growth while also cherishing the precious time with my little one. Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me. I look forward to the possibility of finding a role that aligns with both my professional goals and personal values.

Hi! I have worked in various different classrooms and other babysitting jobs! - I had so many lovely minis that would rely on me to help them understand their homework, help them with their hair , show me their art work and project from class and of course you cannot forget the piggyback rides! ! I have also worked with baby’s who are just hitting milestones - tummy time is always fun ! Helping them step a couple steps never gets old ! And just I love the routines babies have ! Play, eat , sleep and grow up strong and smart ! Keeping that in mind I adore toddlers ! And previous twin toddlers I helped take care of really won my heart over ! Soo smart soo strong already but soo little ! I have experience with difficult kids as well ! And I always use redirection or sometimes they just want someone to understand them ! So with autism and other behavioral issues I am comfortable ! Older kids seem to get along great with me and usually don’t mind having me around anyways ! I can help them with their homework as well and also keep track of where they are going and keeping them out of trouble haha! I know you as parents work hard and just want to come home to your littles- so I don’t mind helping cleaning up or whatever you guys need to be comfortable when you get home !

Nurturing young minds is more than a job for me; it's my true passion. I've dedicated much of my career to providing care for children from infancy to age 5. I prefer to work with individual families at this stage of my career because it allows me to provide more individualized experiences. I have a literal trunkload of art:/science/math projects geared for any age. I have a self-designed BS in incorporating the arts into Early Childhood Education, a CDA, and am current in CPR and First Aid. I have a comprehensive portfolio to share with you. I create learning experiences that are engaging and fun. I'm reliable, patient, calm and imaginative. I love to get children outdoors to explore the natural world and assist in physical development. I look forward to speaking with you about the needs of your little one(s)!
