I grew up taking care of my young family members and even their friends kids! I fell in love right away with caring for them. I continued my passion into working with children at a school and even pursued into getting certified for children with special needs! I love kids! Nurturing them, and also giving back to the families who need the support or maybe just want to enjoy themselves as well. You guys deserve so much. I can also start ASAP! 😊

I am family-oriented, hardworking, and friendly. On my free time I love to workout, spend time with family , and get involved with outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and/or swimming. I come from a big family. Growing up, I have taken the responsibility to babysit my little cousins whenever it was needed. I have a masters in Education and have been teaching for 5 years. Additionally, I was a mentor for the Si, Se Puede after school program for three years working with elementary/middle school students. I would help my mentees with homework for about an hour. Afterwards, we would pack-up and play board games for the remaining time and share stories about our day. In this way, we were able to know our mentees more, what they liked/did not like, their favorite hobbies, ect. From 2014-2016 I worked for YDO (Youth Development Organization) as a Kinesiology teacher. In this organization, I developed a curriculum for the summer program which involved team-building activities (obstacle courses, relay races, sports games, etc.). I was assigned a group of 12 kids that ranged from ages 8-10. It was a great experience being able to watch the kids grow physically and mentally. These activities developed their leadership skills, creativity, and knowledge. I am also CPR certified. I work as a lifeguard over the summer where I help assist swimming lessons for kids of all ages, guard the water to ensure the patrons safety as well as water safety.
