My husband is a Senior Director of Sales for a petroleum company and has an office here but travels. All the time. My biggest baby is my 7 month old baby Great Dane. We have a 2 year old bulldog and tiny tiny 10 pound mix. I watch my three year old baby cousin during the school year but soon it will be her turn for preschool. Hello! My name is Allison, and I’m a recent college graduate looking for part-time child care work. Through my undergraduate experience studying education and anthropology, I developed a deep appreciation for connection and communication with all people- especially kids! As a part of my degree program, I have completed significant coursework in human development, with a focus on effective learning environments and holistic education. I love running, hiking, climbing, and a plethora of additional activities that allow me to experience the incredible natural world. In addition to outdoor activity, I am a craft/art enthusiast and am always exploring new creative hobbies to pursue and integrate into my teaching. I also enjoy reading, cooking, drawing, and crocheting! With my 3+ years in child care I’m all about helping your children learn and grow. I love to help out as much as possible (cleaning, running errands for you, etc).
