O have experience and training in worling with diverse learners as well as children with special needs. During the summer I teach an arts and craft enrichment class for kindergarten and first grade campers. My greatest joy has been raising my children. Family love is important to me in life for everyone. I was also very involved with my nieces and nephews as they grew up. I have cared for them and been active in their lives. I strongly believe children should feel safe in the care of others as well as parents. I pride my self on making families and children feel safe and nurtured in my care. Hello! I am a certified New Jersey public school elementary teacher. I have been teaching ESL for the past three years to grades K-5. I taught English in Spain for 2 years to children ranging from 3 years old to 12 years old. I would love to share my enthusiasm of the Spanish language with the children as it was also my major in college. I worked at a preschool prior to Covid and enjoyed reading stories to the children, making crafts, and having dance breaks with the class. During Covid, I worked as a nanny for a wonderful family who worked remotely from home and I was able to see their child grow from a 6 month old to a toddler. I was responsible for feeding, changing, engaging, walking, and nap time during the two years we were together. Working with children is very rewarding because I learn so much from them and enjoy watching them grow.
