Hi there! I'm a junior at Columbia University, studying Urban Studies and Architecture. I'm originally from Kansas City and DC, and just got back this fall from Reims, France, the capital of Champagne, where I studied Political Science for two years. I'm outgoing, energetic, and caring with kids, and react well in emergencies. I tutored kids of all ages throughout high school, so I'm great with homework help. I have a valid drivers' license and am happy to run errands. I love teaching kids to be responsible for themselves, instead of being overbearing and authoritative in telling them what to do and not to do. I love making art, playing outside, and cooking with kids. Since I've been abroad since high school, I haven't been able to babysit as much as I used to, and I miss hanging out with kids! I nannied a pair of twins from ages 2 to 7, and have also babysat less longterm for several other families with children in the same age range. I volunteered for 3 years at a school for blind/visually impaired children aged 1-6, and for Head Start daycare.

As a mom myself I understand how difficult it can be specially for first time parents to separate from their child and feel like they are "missing out" or having a sense of guilt kick in and I'm here to make the process easier and provide ease.
