I am a currently a freelance pet sitter, and babysitter of 10 plus years. As a New York Native I know how to navigate through the MTA system and the neighborhoods of each borough. Hello, I’ve been babysitting children between the ages 2-13 for 5 years. I am currently an occasional babysitter for three families. I work at an afterschool program at an elementary school where I help with homework and overall just have fun with the children. Working at the after school program taught me how to handle lots of children at one time and patience. I have been a combat medic in the Army National Guard for three years and I’m a certified EMT. I’ve always loved children, working with them has taught me that they aren’t just tiny adults but they’re unique and I’m fully aware of that distinction. Being a biology major at DePaul University, I have always been interested in the medical field. It wasn’t until I worked at a summer camp for special needs children that I decided that I wanted to do medical research on those children, to improve their quality of life.
