Before coming to the United States, I gained experience caring for babies and children in Colombia. Since then, for two years, I was an Au Pair with a family, taking care of their two girls (ages 2 and 6). I also spent a year caring for a 4-year-old girl, and most recently, I cared for a baby girl from the time she was 4 months old until she turned 1. I’m now looking for a new position because she is transitioning to daycare. As a full-time caregiver, I have handled everything related to the children in my care, including: following sleep schedules, nap and bedtimes, changing diapers and potty training, bottle and meal preparation, bathtime, and taking them to classes and scheduling playdates with other nannies.
