Hello Families, My name is Londyn and I am full time nanny (during the weekdays) and a student studying Pediatric Nuclear Medicine. I have been in childcare for 20+ years and am well versed in behavioral, mental, and physical milestones. I have experience with all ages, including newborns, and am first aid and CPR certified. I am a caring and nurturing person, and children have always felt comfortable near me. I have worked with children with behavioral issues, slower developmental development, as well as children with Autism and Downs Syndrome. For the family I currently work with, I do meal prep for the parents for the week, laundry, run errands, and all tasks involving the children (cooking their dinners, preparing their lunches, homework help, driving them around, etc.). I am an honest, caring, responsible, friendly and vegan 47-year-old married woman who moved from Spain to NJ in December of 2011. I come from a big family (I am the youngest of 8 siblings!) and I grew up with small kids always around me (nephews, nieces and neighbors). My work experience there was basically office & Accounting work, since I have a degree in Accountancy, but once I moved here, I decided to take care of kids thanks to my great experience in the past, not only in Spain but also when I moved to Ireland for 6 months in 2004 to improve my English. Once there, I worked with 2 families taking care of their 8 month-old baby boys. It was a wonderful experience that I still cherish today. During my first 5 years here I took care of 2 brothers since they were babies and I can honestly say that I loved it (and love them!) and I feel so privileged to witness what two wonderful boys they became! Since then, I was lucky to take care of infants in a Day Care and work with 2 different families. My goal as a Caregiver is to nurture, care, teach, bring some fun and also keep children’s natural curiosity for everything around them alive.
