I've been sitting children since I was 10 years old. I've held various jobs from occasional sitting to long term nannying & mothers helper. I'm experienced with children from newborns to 12 years old, including many sets of multiples. I am the oldest of 6 children and many many cousins. Housekeeping, and food preparation are also not a problem! I believe in teaching children and allowing them to grow to be the absolute best they can be through activities, reading, and playing. I also know basic ASL to teach children, allowing them to better communicate when they have yet to learn how to speak. I was CPR certified, and I have absolutely no problem getting re certified or any additional certifications!

Hello my name is Amanda . Ever since I was a young girl I have had my heart set on growing up and working with kids and animals. When I save up enough money I will be looking to go back to college and continue on getting my degree in education. I’ve been taking care of and around kids/animals for all of my life. I have three little nieces and one nephew I grew up watching over and taking care of. My sister also use to nanny multiple kids in which I would help. I am also now a great aunt to a handsome 3 month old boy who I have watched occasionally. I have worked as an assistant teacher for toddlers, preschoolers and up to 2nd graders. I started this field when I was only 13 years old for a family friend who's son has Autism and other learning disabilities. I stayed with this family for 8 years, when needed, and did overnights, pet care, and light housekeeping. When I was 15 years old, I became a lifeguard and swim instructor at the JCC Camps at Medford in the summer, and the YMCA in Mount Laurel & Moorestown Community House during the school year. When I was 18, I nannied for a newborn (5 months old) & 2 year old for a year, full time. I was hands on with pace-feeding bottles, changing diapers, reading books, rocking to sleep, pick ups from pre-school, pet care, house keeping, meal-prep and activities. When I was 21, I nannied for an 8 year old child with Autism for 2 years. I have 15+ years experience of care-taking, with children of all ages. I now am a stay at home mom to my 5 year old son who is starting Kindergarten this coming year. I am available weekdays from 10am-2:30pm. It is my goal to be a long term nanny for one family.
