I'm originally from Kansas City and DC, and just got back this fall from Reims, France, the capital of Champagne, where I studied Political Science for two years. Throughout the last 20 years as a teacher and managing services for children with developmental disabilities in the department of health and department of education I have worked as a nanny.on the side for supplemental income. I have extensive experience with premature infants up to middle school children and with children on the spectrum, with ADHD or speech delays. I am well versed in the milestones a child should achieve and as a caregiver I implement age appropriate goals to make sure that I work with each child on all their domains of development including their cognitive, sociall, language, academic (if applicable) and physical; although safety is always my #1 priority. Working with children requires patience, empathy, being passionate about it and understanding that every child is different in their own way. I believe that good communication between parents and all caregivers is essential so that everyone is on the same page. Our daughter loves her. 2 Brian Tubbs. Nogaye was a wonderful French/English Nanny to our daughter. For one year Nogaye cared for our daughter full time. She did everything from the basics, diapers, feeding and cleaning, to teaching French an English while playing inside and outdoors. Nogaye is full of energy to keep up with the wildest child or inspire one's a bit more reserved. They were always going outside and to different places for fun, learning and playgroups. Nogaye is very skilled with children with separation anxiety and really understands what the child needs. Additionally, her studies in Child Development make her an excellent care giver.
