I grew up in an in-home daycare, so caring for little ones has always come naturally to me. Four years ago I took a job in a daycare that sparked that same joy and passion for childcare that I experienced in my mom's daycare. In my spare time, I love to spend time outdoors. My name is Lili. I am a recent graduate of UCLA. Growing up I was one of five girls in the family; which proved very beneficial when it comes to my experience with kids. I have over 7 years of experience working with kids from either babysitting neighborhood kids or through my volunteer and work positions. From 2013-2015, I have worked as a snows ports instructor with a non-profit organization called Achieve Tahoe that provided affordable and adaptive recreational activities for participants with all types of disabilities ranging from spinal cord injuries to autism. My position at the ski school was to assist in ski lessons for kids with disabilities ranging from the age of 5-15 years old. In the summer of 2015 I worked as a belayer at Diablo Rock Gym. There I ran the kids summer rock climbing program, teaching kids how to have fun and be safe while indoor rock climbing. On weekends I would belay for birthday parties and private lessons. Since I am gone for the majority of the year for college, I work there on the occasionally school breaks. The summer after my first year at UCLA, I worked as a live-in nanny for a family in Elk Grove, CA. My duties included feeding, bathing, and providing the overall care for a five-month-old baby girl and her four-year-old sister. On a side note, I am a very active person; during my free time, I love to rock climb, hike and do yoga.
