Hello, thank you for taking a moment to read my profile: I’m a Mom and longtime professional Chef (CIA Grad) that is an empty nester with my son being away at college who is about to graduate. This gives me now the opportunity to slow my chef-work pace down. As an entrepreneur I continue to take on the occasional “gig” but am leaning towards exiting the long commutes that coincide with my NYC clients. My culinary profession has given me extensive experience in food related work with clients in their homes. I am very mindful and respectful of their confidential/private spaces. As a single Mom to my now 24 year-old son, I am used to the challenges that came/come with juggling between schedules, drop-offs/pickups, snack/meal-prep, errands and work etc. As a Longtime local resident yet born & raised in NYC, I have the advantage of navigating both settings. “A country mile is like walking a city block”…driving numerous times a day is just part of raising a family in a rural setting. I am very comfortable with pets as we are a family with several rescues. I am a non-smoker, well versed with healthier food choices (preferably non-processed for kids) am patient and quite understanding but will say “No” if the circumstance call’s for it and will check in with the parents. I prefer limited or no screen time under my care. My cell phone will always be on but I will not be scrolling. My reputation in general is of stability, honesty and reliability. Currently I am looking for a flexible position until June 10 with availability again in late July onward as I will be visiting my mother during that time.
