I was a stay-at-home mom that recently went back to work overnight. It's been a rough transition for my family and I've realized that being home more is best for our family. I would like however, to watch another child so that my daughter has someone to play with and so I can still help to contribute to our family's income. My daughter is 2.5, very bright, talkative and loves to run, jump and go down slides. We live in a trailer in a quiet country park, where the kids would have 2 play rooms and the living room to play in. We've got a large play kitchen, bounce house, ball pit, educational toys, books and musical instruments to play with. We plan on homeschooling so I'd like to purchase a new educational toy each month to contribute to their learning. My daughter does better with older children that are conversational and like pretend play. So my ideal situation is to find a child to watch in the 3-5 year old range that she can grow up with. Perhaps someone whose parents were also planning on homeschooling but cant afford to lose income by staying home. I plan on having half the day be structured learning/play and the other half free play. I feel I should also mention that we have chosen, through careful investigation, not to vaccinate. We're comfortable with whatever your family chooses, but we'd like your family to be comfortable with ours as well. We plan on purchasing a home next year in the area, so hopefully it will be more spacious than the trailer, in case that was a concern of yours. I'd like to charge $5 an hour, but we can talk about the price a bit depending on how many hours you'd need care for your child. Ideally I'd love a situation where everyone felt like extended family, where our kids became bffs. Hopefully we're the place you've been looking for and your child is the friend ours has been looking for. Please let me know if you have any questions. Hello! I am 26 years old, I have a degree Bachelor’s in Biology. My most recent nanny job was in Buffalo when I was a nanny to a little one year old girl for half a year. I traveled with the family to NYC, did housework, laundry, and meal prep! When it comes to children I love teaching them how to learn in new creative ways. Not all minds think the same way so I love to see and help kids find out their way of comprehending knowledge to the best of their ability. I love reading every type of book imaginable! I also never get tired of reading the same ones over and over if your child does have a favorite, makes it easier to memorize for me! I love being outside. I think fresh air is the best medicine!
