Hi, I’m Samantha! I recently graduated with my bachelors degree in psychology, along with completing multiple courses in early childhood education. I have 2 years of daycare experience as well as one year experience working in the Mental Health field with children. Between the years of 2014 and 2016 I was enrolled in the early childhood education program at the Eastern Long Island Academy of Applied Technology where I worked towards obtaining my Child Development Accreditation. Some of my hobbies include sports, going to the beach, yoga, and art. I also like to spend a lot of my free time fundraising for the Ronald McDonald House with an organization I have been a part of for almost 10 years. Over the years I have helped raise my two wonderful nephews who are now 6 and 13. I have much prior experience babysitting for numerous families around the area, and would be happy to provide references and discuss further. I look forward to connecting! :)

My name is Jessica/Jessie and I love children. Rest assured, I am Adult, Child and Infant, Pediatric CPR/AED & First Aid Certified. I have experience with children and adults who have special needs. Experienced with infants, toddlers, and grade school children. I drive a reliable 2021 Subaru Forester, and have a clean driving record. Organized and experienced, I enjoy making the time I’m there enjoyable for everyone. From climbing the tree in the yard together with the older kids, to homework help, meal prep and clean up, it will be done. I’m classically trained, I play the viola and drums. So I love bringing various instruments such as hand drums, small tambourine, and maracas for the children to enjoy. I sometimes bring a mini speaker and encourage dance, exercise and self expression. It’s been amazing to me, how much I’ve observed how music really helps the children use their imaginations! I’ll bring lots of other activities like a craft, coloring books, markers, matching games, a variety of balls are always with me, to share with your children. Additional sports equipment, and soccer nets are also available upon request and are all included in my rate. I’m looking forward to finding more families to build a relationship with. Childcare is something that comes really natural for me, this is one of the reasons I love it so much. Looking forward to speaking with you soon. Several recent references available upon request.

Hello families, my name is Erin and I have been a caregiver for 10 years. I am 27 years old and I will ensure that your children are receiving the same love and attention as if they were my own. I am a NY certified social studies teacher who also has a masters degree in teaching English to non- native English Speakers. (ENL) As a mother myself of one energetic 11 year old, I understand the kind of care we want for our children. I do have my own form of childcare so this would not become an issue. As a nanny who is proficient in understanding the emotional needs of children, I know how crucial it is to be dependable, attentive, and nurturing! I have cared for newborns all the way to pre-teens! Past responsibilities included errands, meal preparation, chores, pick-up/drop off from after school activities, etc. As a nanny, I am very open-minded and understand that all children require their own form of unique accommodations as well as families. Fun fact: My daughter and I compete in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu together:)

As a nanny for over 25 years, I have enjoyed working for many different families that are now part of my extended family. Hello Families, I've had great experiences during my 20 years in private childcare settings caring for children newborn to 6 years old. Was a lead infant and lead toddler teacher as well for 4 years. I truly love being around kids and the fact that they allow me to enjoy the day and have fun. I try to incorporate learning experiences into everything that I do with them (counting number of food items/toys we are playing with, saying the color of items being used/seen, reading the signs we see along our walks and such). I incorporate the kids' interests in the daily activities to keep them entertained while learning. I enjoy seeing/teaching a child something new. I incorporated sign language into my infant class (during my time as a nanny as well) to allow them to talk before they have developed their speech skills. To help encourage them to reach their important early milestones, for the young ones, I do: tummy time; reading; lots of music -sing/play along; sensory toys; mirror play; help with hand-eye coordination and such. I love music and doing arts and crafts, especially for the holidays. I enjoy the outdoors and going for walks, the beach, parks, zoos (Ecology Center is the best) and making use of the local library or even pet/local stores (when the weather keeps us indoors). I have no problem speaking about care for your pets as well while I'm there. I'm a big animal lover, I have 2 rescues -a dog and a reptile. I would like to also mention that I held a CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) for several years. The experience of working in a hospital/nursing homes along with CPR/AED certification has allowed me to be fully prepared for emergencies. I held my NYS Teaching Assistant Certification (K-12) as well. I have had background screenings done with the most recent in 2024. I feel that I am pretty flexible and I like to be up front and look for that in the family I work with. I feel open communication is a good quality for both sides to help things run smoothly. I have enjoyed becoming a part of the family, in the past, and I am hoping to find that again. I have letters of recommendation from families I worked for other than what is listed on my profile. I will give contact information when it's needed Thank you for your interest in me and I wish you luck in finding the right person for your family

My name is Casey, thank you for taking the time to look at my care profile. Previously I've nannied for two families. I've also worked in a preschool as a teaching assistant and was a co director and group leader of an after-school care program and summer camp. I would be happy to provide you with a full resume and reference sheet. I'm a very creative and playful person. I enjoy the outdoors immensely- taking walks at the many local nature preserves, going to the beach and stand up paddle boarding are some of my favorite past times. I also enjoy yoga, cooking, and reading. I love playing my guitar (not very well, I'm still learning!) and spending time with my family. I'm looking for a nanny position in the Hamptons, if you think I could be a good fit for your family or have further questions, please message me. Thanks so much!
