Hello! I am currently a law student working in Utica for the summer and looking for evening/weekend babysitting jobs! I have worked with children at summer camp and have babysat, have worked with children in a school setting, and have babysitting experience as well! I have my own car and I can provide other typical household tasks.

I love working with kids of all ages and worked as a TA in an Elementary school. I also used to work with kids in a hospital as an aide. I have a 5 year old daughter and she loves making new friends with the kids I've sat for. I'll be available Monday through Friday and an occasional Saturday for a date day or night. I am not available on Sundays.

My major is human development, and I plan on becoming an occupational therapist in the future, hopefully working with kids. I really love being around children and taking care of them, and I enjoy getting to know them and interacting with them. I want to feel more comfortable working with kids as I move forward in my career, and babysitting is a great opportunity for me to gain that experience. I also have a lot of experience working with kids, including working as a camp counselor at a kids’ camp, and I’ve babysat for multiple families, which helped me build strong communication, responsibility, and caregiving skills.

I originally found my enjoyment for babysitting through jobs given by my neighbors to watch over their kids while they ran errands. I expanded my experience through the New Visions: Health Program where I spent about 2 weeks interning in the Sitrin Child Care Center. I enjoyed my education so much that I decided to attempt a payed position in babysitting before going into college for nursing. I am certified in basic life saving procedures and took a year long class in Culinary Arts. I love aiding the development process of children through fun activities and learning opportunities and am willing to adjust for parent needs whenever possible.

I've taught swim lessons to children of all ages for 5 years and have been apart of the Big Brother Big Sister Program working with 4th and 5th graders at Geneva Boys and Girls Club for a year. I recently finished my freshman year of college at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where I am a member of their swim and dive team and a psychology major.
