Am creative and enjoy the company of children. Have taught art in a few local school district. Also I am cpr/first aid certified and have 200 hr. yoga cert. from KRIPALU, and teach a few hrs. per wk. I have a sense of humor, positive, punctual, non judgmental, intuitive and caring.

I am looking for a relatively full time nanny position starting at the end of December or the beginning of January. I have a strong background in early childhood and elementary education, including experience as a kindergarten teacher, a second grade long term substitute, and a lead teacher in early childhood classrooms. I have worked with children from infancy through elementary school and feel confident supporting daily routines, learning activities, and social emotional needs. During my first year of college I was a Jr. Sr. High youth group counselor for three combined churches. Then while I attended St. Rose, I spent many hours working with pre-school through 6th grade. At 46, I was blessed to become a mother to my only child, Christopher Raymond. He and I participated in community events, library programs including fantastic summer programs, VBS, and trips I planned to special places like Washington DC & Honolulu, HI. He was an honors student since 3rd grade, graduated with AP and college credits! This us his sophomore year at Marist University. As a teenager I cleaned house but would prefer to take it easy on my back and knees now. I love to bake. My parents were 36 & 40 yrs old when my twin brother & I were born. They allowed my older brothers to name us. When we were older they taught us to swim, ice skate, build snow forts, drive a small motorcycle and then drive a car with a standard. My middle brother & his wife taught college and high school math so prepared us for math Regents. We also went camping with them in the Finger Lakes.
