I have been passionate about childcare ever since the birth of my first nephew, who l helped care for almost as a second mom, at 14 years old. I always wanted to help, and I knew that childcare was definitely where I would shine. I currently work at a daycare center where I help out in all age groups/classrooms. Meaning I have experience with all ages 3mon. - 5yrs. The most common age groups I work with are infants and toddlers, and I absolutely love what I do, so much so that l'd love to do it independently with a caring and happy family! I am currently working full time, planning on retiring soon. I have a new grandson who I plan on spending time with, as well as helping out with my aging parents. I love children. At one point I was retired this past January and went through the Ombundsman Course at Lifespan and got my certification to advocate for patients in nursing homes. However, I decided the extra time I had for now, I would be there to help my parents when needed. That still leaves plenty of time for babystitting, since my schedule is flexible (except mondays-fridays, 8-5 for the present being).

I am a 58 year old retired Hairdresser and also taught cosmetology. I currently hold license in 4 states along with my teaching license which requires me to be up to date with all CPR safety training varying state to state. I was a family caregiver during schooling in my early 20's for a family of 4 ranging from newborn to teen. I am also a mother of a 20 year old daughter and owned my own business for over 17 years and was very blessed to have my business located in my home.
