Hello, I love being a babysitter because it is so heartwarming to be around younger people and get to be a role model in there life. I am additionally looking to get more experience with young children and babies because I plan to be a NICU or Labor and Delivery nurse. I love working with infants and young toddlers particularly. I often babysit for kids in the neighborhood, and I am a swim instructor as well as lifeguard in the summer. I am CPR certified, and have taken a babysitting course previously through a BOCES program.

Hey I’m Jupiter! I just finished my first year at Hampshire College studying social work and psychology, but since my school closed down last month I’m back home looking for a way to spend my time and earn an income. I have experience working with kids as a camp counselor for two summers, and on and off as a babysitter as a teenager. I love working with kids because they offer such unique insights into the world and they’re often very perceptive.

I love helping children in there development stage, I like to watch them learn new things and grow! I did early childhood in high school! My mom had 5 kids and I was the oldest daughter so they became my responsibility very young. I’ve always liked watching after kids because I get to learn things they like and don’t like, the way they all learn differently.

Hi, Here is a little background info about me. I was born and raised in NJ, I am one of 5 children and come from a very loving and close nit family. I have 7 nieces and 2 nephews that range from 10-28 but since they have been born, I have watched all of them throughout their childhood and in the summers throughout my college years I was a nanny. Once I graduated with a bachelor's in international business management, I moved to NYC and worked in the corporate world for over 20 years. I had a great job but needed a change. So, I left the corporate world and moved to Cape Cod for 3 years. I took care of my cousins 3 children (ages, 2,3 and 5) from 7am to 7pm Monday-Friday. It was great but they got older and went to school, so I decided to leave the Cape. I was then in a transitional period; I did not want to move back to NYC and go back to the corporate world because I realized that my love for taking care of children was what I wanted to do. My brother and his family have always lived in Ithaca and my mom (who I am very close with) decided to move to Ithaca, so I made the move with her. I found a great apartment and started nannying and I also started my own small business of personal organizing. For the first few years, I started out watching twin boys that were 4 months when I started. Then Covid hit and I had to take a break. Since then, I have been working for families that have children from 2 months to 10 years old. I can go into more detail once we speak, and I can also give you recent references. I am a very loving, caring and nurturing person and taking care of children is something I take very seriously. I have many years of experience, and I am very professional and understand that every child has different needs and personalities. I would love to set up a time to talk. Hello! I am a 26 year old woman living in lower Manhattan, looking for summer work. In addition to having extensive babysitting experience throughout my teens and early twenties, I am also a trained social worker (my primary area of focus was youth) and a fiction writer. Additionally, I volunteered at multiple children's specialized hospitals during my high school years, as well as worked as a tutor in math and reading. I believe strongly in the merits of social-emotional learning and trauma-informed care, particularly when working with children, which means that part of being a good sitter is helping children navigate their emotions and relationships. I will be heading off to Cornell University in the fall for a creative writing MFA and in the meantime, am eager to take on any opportunities you might have for me.

Hello! I'm Korbin Litz. I'm currently in Ithaca attending college for film with minors in animation and education. I've worked in schools as an after school teacher for After School All Stars. I pride myself on being able to connect with kids on a personal level and encouraging them to grow into the wonderful adults I know they all can be. I love going out in nature on hikes and and playing outdoor sports, but I also love a rainy day inside making art and playing board games. I have had a passion for infant/ child care for most of my life. I love caring for babies and toddlers and helping them develop into kind, strong, capable young children. I have been working with infants and toddlers for 5 years, and I absolutely love it. I spent the past year working ~30hrs/week for a baby girl from 6mo-18mo while her family lived here for a year-long fellowship. Some of my favorite activities to do were going to the park, the playground, the science center, the library, or baby circus classes at circus culture. As a local (born and raised in Ithaca) it is such a pleasure and privilege to show babies/children everything that Ithaca has to offer in the way of kiddos.
