I teach 5th grade Sunday school at a local Synagogue, worked as a au pair this past summer for a family with children ages 10 & 14, spent two summers working as a day camp counselor for ages 5-11, and have babysat previously. I have my own car and am comfortable carpooling. I am experienced with dogs and comfortable caring for most other pets. I truly enjoy spending time with children and find forming real connections with them to be extremely fulfilling.

I started by caring for my younger brothers. Then I began working for other families. I used to give them bottles, feed them at meal times, go out with them to the park, and do many activities. I learned a lot from working at a day care across from my house. I feel comfortable taking care of small children, and enjoy the work. I worked at Mary Cariola Children's Center as a full time employee I was a Teacher's Aid. My job duties include providing care and educational support to children 3-5 years in age. I make sure that their needs are met (toileting, feeding), and I work on their educational goals as instructed by the lead teacher. I feel comfortable in my role there working with medically fragile children, and I also enjoy playing and running around with the children who are more physically agile.

Hi! I am Emma Viggiani. I currently live in Rochester, NY, and I am a middle school ENL teacher in Brighton. I graduated from Niagara University in 2023 with my degree TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) with a minor in dance. I am currently working on my masters degree in Literacy from SUNY Brockport. I have worked with children since I was little and absolutely love the education field. I have a lot of experience working with students at my job, in after school programs, volunteering, and being an assistant in primary, elementary, middle and high schools. I love creating fun activities for children of all ages, specifically ones that get them away from the screens and immersed with the activity and the people around them. Going outside and enjoying nature is also important and something I would do when it is nice out!

My names is Alexis Blotzer, I am originally from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. I moved to Rochester to go to school at Rochester Institute of technology. I graduated in 2016 with a degree in interior design. After I graduated, I decided to go outside of my comfort zone to work in a government program called Rochester AmeriCorps. My duty was to be a big brother supporter to kids with in the Rochester city school district. I absolutely loved every moment of it and made me change my career to working with kids. During the first two weeks of August, I work a camp in Rush NY. The camp is called Camp Hacamo, Here I work with individuals ages 7-30 with severe emotional / behavioral disorders including autism. Woking Rochester AmeriCorps and working Camp Haccamo has trained me to become CPR, First Aid and AED certified through American Heart Association, Gandhi Non-vionelce Intensive Certified, Opiod Overdose Training provided by NY State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) and Disaster Preparedness Training provided by the American Red Cross. I also have behavior training through Camp Haccamo including how to properly transport individuals who are in wheel chairs. Awards upon completion of Rochester AmeriCorps, I have gained over 2,000 hours of community service as well as the Eli Segal Education Award for completion.
