As someone who has always loved and connected with children, since I was a child, there has always been a special place in my heart for working with children! Even after getting my bachelors degree in psychology, I decided to focus on child psychology! I’ve worked with families as a babysitter, as a live out nanny, I’ve also worked at elementary schools and preschools and daycares! I love kids and I also love animals, particularly dogs, so if you have any pets, that’s always a plus for me! I do have a small dog sitting business on the side, but my childcare responsibilities always come first. For about 20 years now, on and off, I’ve worked with children ranging from age 2-14 years old. I’ve worked with children who had certain special needs such as being on the spectrum, having ADHD, sensory impairment issues, etc. , but I don’t have a TON of experience with that. I just really love kids and think it’s so important to be a positive source of support and encouragement for them as they grow and learn and decide who they are/how they want to navigate through this world!
