I have extensive experience caring for children starting when I was only 7 years old watching my younger sister. I have cared for babies as young as one month old and understand a baby’s unique needs. I have also watched older children as old as 12 and my family have welcomed foster children throughout the years. I truly love children. I don’t do it for the money, I do it purely because I know children deserve the best care filled with love and dignity.

I have always liked to work with children. In my teen years, I worked summers at a Montessori school. I learned many things about learning pace and simple objects to teach a lesson. After that, I worked in a daycare where I was an infant & toddler teacher. After that daycare closed down, I had my own child and stayed home until he was 6 months old. I then worked at our local YMCA as a pre school teacher, and then at a preschool geared toward children with disabilities. I worked with many different children; visually impaired, 1:1 for child with severe Autism, children with Down Syndrome, FAS, and learned many techniques to sooth and help these children to do the activities that the "typically" developing children were doing.  I currently have my Associates in the Arts and am enrolled at Empire State. I will have my Bachelors in Human Services in Dec 2013.  My favorite thing to do is hang out with my amazing six year old son! He has made me a football lover (Patriots!). I also like to read, watch movies, shop, and spending time with family and friends.

Hi, I’m Emma! I am a Spring 2022 graduate from Binghamton University with my Bachelor’s in Integrative Neuroscience and a minor in Anthropology. I am currently living at home in Guilderland working at Albany Medical Center and I plan on attending nursing school next year. I’ve always had a passion for working with people and helping others. While working at The Boys & Girls Club as a camp counselor the past few summers, I gained experience working with children ages 6 to 12, leading a group of a approximately 15 eight-year-olds in various camp activities. Since September, I have been working full-time at Albany Medical Center as a Patient Care Associate on the pediatric floor, providing basic care to children from birth to late teens.
