Hi, I’m Samantha! I recently graduated with my bachelors degree in psychology, along with completing multiple courses in early childhood education. I have 2 years of daycare experience as well as one year experience working in the Mental Health field with children. Between the years of 2014 and 2016 I was enrolled in the early childhood education program at the Eastern Long Island Academy of Applied Technology where I worked towards obtaining my Child Development Accreditation. Some of my hobbies include sports, going to the beach, yoga, and art. I also like to spend a lot of my free time fundraising for the Ronald McDonald House with an organization I have been a part of for almost 10 years. Over the years I have helped raise my two wonderful nephews who are now 6 and 13. I have much prior experience babysitting for numerous families around the area, and would be happy to provide references and discuss further. I look forward to connecting! :)

I highly recommend Cory! I hired Cory to babysit for two nights while my family was out in Cutchogue. We had a baby sleeping, and then Cory took care of 9 year old and 6 year old girls. The girls loved playing and reading with her. Although we didn't spend too much time with Cory, I could tell she was really caring and would be able to take care of the baby if need be. I'll definitely hire Cory again when we are out on the North Fork!

I am an experienced educator, learning specialist, and childcare professional with over 15 years of experience supporting children from infancy through adolescence. I hold two master’s degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University in Elementary Inclusive Education and Curriculum & Literacy, where I specialized in child development, literacy acquisition, and evidence-based learning practices. My philosophy is deeply influenced by both the Reggio Emilia and Montessori approaches, which emphasize curiosity, independence, creativity, and learning through meaningful experiences. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, seen, and inspired to explore the world around them. In addition to my work in schools and private homes, I have contributed curriculum and educational content for Sesame Workshop, helping create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children and families. My professional experience includes classroom teaching, educational consulting, tutoring, nannying, babysitting, and supporting children with ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, executive functioning challenges, and diverse learning needs. Whether caring for infants, creating enriching activities for toddlers, helping with homework, supporting literacy development, or managing bedtime routines, I bring warmth, patience, and professionalism to every family I work with. Families describe me as nurturing, dependable, highly engaging, and exceptionally skilled at building strong connections with children while supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth.

I am a third-year student at the University of Virginia. I am also studying Education and Human Development so I am working with kids in school currently for my practicum hours. I have been babysitting for about 6 years now and I enjoy hanging out with kids as I am one of four kids in my family. I am okay with being in the same house as pets, doing some light house cleaning, prepping dinner, and driving kids if needed.

Hi, my name is Haley! I grew up in a very nice neighborhood full of families who babysat me and once I became of age, I babysat their kids which began my 20 years of sitter experience . I learned early on how much I love being around kids, and creating engaging, fun, and educational activities for them. During my time in highschool, I was a camp head counselor and babysat several families, many of whom I still help out occasionally. I have experience with children of all ages, including infants, as well as families that have multiple kids. In the summer during COVID, when camps were closed, a friend and I organized our own personalized camp for nine kids who had spent quarantine together. We came up with great ways to spend each day and stay active, making it a memorable summer for everyone. I always try to figure out the best way I can connect with your child so they will feel comfortable with me right away. I hope I’m a good match for you and your family!

Hi! I’d describe myself as patient, fun, creative, and dependable. I’ve spent years working with kids throughout high school and college, and as an older sister myself, I understand family and sibling dynamics very well. I genuinely enjoy being around children and love creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment where they can feel comfortable and have fun. Whether it’s helping with routines, keeping kids entertained, or simply being someone parents can rely on, I always try to bring a calm and caring energy. I’m looking for a babysitting position where I can be helpful, supportive, and build a strong relationship with the family I work with. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and spending time with my family and friends
